IF YOUR Cheltenham bankers do half as well as those in the City then your stable will be bang in contention. I'm relying on Quevega, who has a great chance of completing her hat-trick in the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle, and Oscars Well, who may prove a cut above his rivals in the Neptune Investment.
It is impossible to gauge just how good Spirit Son is, but he is a very strong fancy for the opening Supreme Novices', while Fiveforthree can 'bankrupt' a few stables in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle. Denman is my Gold Cup Strong fancy. He has been there and got the T-shirt and always goes well after a break. Completing my fancies in this section is Ski Sunday in the County Hurdle. He may prove much better than a handicapper.
Realt Dubh won the Irish Arkle in January and has credentials as good as or better than most in Tuesday's Cheltenham equivalent.
Reve De Sivola won over course and distance in January and appeals in the Spinal Research Handicap Chase, and my fingers are crossed that Mikael D'Haguenet (pictured) will get his act together in the RSA Chase.
Among the Good chances, Walkon has plenty of weight in the Coral Cup but also plenty of ability to match.
Just why Khyber Kim, second in the Champion Hurdle last year, is in the Outside chances category is beyond my comprehension, but he is well worth inclusion. And it seems Triumph Hurdle hope Marsh Warbler has been priced up on his postcode rather than the evidence in the Form book.
