TIME TO RELY ON BIG BUCK'S AND QUEVEGA

BAR snaffling a couple of long-priced winners, your two bankers must go in if you want to win the Select A Stable tipping competition.

For me that makes life easy because I believe that the two horses most likely to win are Quevega and Big Buck's. Of course, the latter won't have things as easy as he did last year with the Crus missile in opposition, but I still don't think anyone has any idea quite how good this horse can be and I'm convinced there is plenty left in the tank.

Medermit looks the solid choice in a weak Arkle, while I think Big Zeb will be hard to beat in the Queen Mother, especially as the ground may be a bit too lively for Master Minded. Wishfull Thinking, who jumped so well around the track last time, is another fancy and Kalahari King always runs well at the festival and should do so again.

Willie Mullins has a strong team in the 'good chances' category and I certainly haven't given up on Zaidpour taking down Cue Card in the Supreme, while Call The Police looks on a good mark in the Coral Cup.

Kilcrea Kim should relish the three miles in the Albert Bartlett. In the Champion Hurdle, I expect Mille Chief to drift badly in the market but he's still a major player in my book and could be a difference maker in this competition.

As for the outsiders, I'm fairly keen on Third Intention in the Triumph and I can't see any reason why A New Story won't go well again in the Cross-Country Chase.
